Subject: | [Gems-users] Building module "ruby" failed |
Dear all, while making the ruby, we encountered an error. Using the verbose option,we see some messages but it doesn't state what is the problem exactly. All variables are set as stated in the document and we have previously compiled ruby successfully on different host. This is what we get: amin@localhost:~/gems/simics$ make VERBOSE=yes ruby PROTOCOL=MOESI_CMP_directory DESTINATION=MOESI_CMP_directory [ -d "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/lib" ] || mkdir -p "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/lib" [ -d "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/obj/modules/ruby" ] || \ mkdir -p "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/obj/modules/ruby" === Building module "ruby" === make -C "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/obj/modules/ruby" \ -f "/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/modules/ruby/Makefile" \ MOD_MAKEFILE="/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/modules/ruby/Makefile" \ HOST_TYPE=x86-linux \ SRC_BASE="/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/modules" \ MODULE_MAKEFILE="/home/amin/gems/simics-3.0.30/config/module.mk" \ TARGET=ruby make[1]: Entering directory `/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/obj/modules/ruby' Using the Simics 3.0 API for ruby module make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/amin/gems/simics_3_workspace/x86-linux/obj/modules/ruby' make: *** [ruby] Error 2 Thanks for any idea. // Naderan *Mahmood; |
