It depends on the flavor of Unix, AFAIK.

On my machine, lots of signals are listed in
/usr/include/bits/signum.h

'6' is usually for SIGABRT.  Does your code have any asserts() that may
have failed that would cause the program to abort?

I don't know if condor sends the program signal 6, but you should first
check that *you* aren't aborting the program yourself.
