Can you not get the post script to write the submit script for the
dependent job and hardwire the machine in that script?

Likewise this could be used to submit a job to the same OS/Arch as the 1st
one,
say if the 1st job was a compilation and the subsequent job(s) a run using
the
results of that compilation.
