it doesn't necessarily mean that.  everything we do to make 6.7.x
better gets us closer to 6.8.0.  i was just going to put it into
6.6.11 to be safe.  we have no real plans of releasing 6.6.11, but in
case we have to, it'll be there...

that said, unfortunately, yes, there are still some major development
efforts we need to finish in 6.7.x before we can release 6.8.0.  so,
it's definitely not going to be "soon" on the order of days... ;)
