Re: [Condor-users] Condor on Xbox??

You can build a Mini ITX cluster probably just as cheap.

You can build a bare bones Mini ITX machine for about £100 ($150) each
and get a lot more performance out it.

Subject: [Condor-users] Condor on Xbox??

Has anyone ever tried to run Condor on a Linux-powered Xbox?

I noticed that the going price for an old Xbox on eBay is $40...for the
price of a cheap server ($2000) I could create a 50-node Xbox grid....

Xbox has some limitations though, mainly memory. But
http://www.xbox-linux.org/ has some useful suggestions for extending the
Xbox without running afoul of the DMCA.
