Can you send us the dagman.out file from one of the failed runs, and
also the corresponding condor.sub file?

When you are able to submit vanilla jobs from the command line, are you
doing it as the same user who is running the personal condor?  (And on
the same machine as one of the failed dagman runs, I assume.)
