RE: [Condor-users] Priority Resolution

So I found that I can submit jobs with any priority in the .sub file.
However, condor_prio does not allow me to set the priority outside of
the 20 to -20 range. Is this a known limitation? Or could this be
fixed soon? Modifying priorities after submission is essential to our
system. Is there another way that I can do this besides using
condor_prio?

I am already using 6.7.7. Does 6.7.7 allow a wider range of priorities?
If so, condor_prio doesn't seem to allow setting the priority outside
the -20 to 20 range.

upgrade to 6.7.6 (see http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/manual/v6.7.7)

In the interim without a very complex and extrely error prone external
system massaging the priorities at runtime no.

Something using job RANK could be done but this would behave very
differently with regard to preemption than user ranking
