Re: [Condor-users] mpirun not found ?

Christopher,
A couple of years back, I set up a testbed MPICH1.2.x on RHEL3. I found that
RHEL3 wouldn't allow me to use rsh without setting up Kerberos or similar
authentication.

My workaround was to rename rsh and to copy ssh as rsh. So, rsh was actually
running ssh between nodes. (I could probably have sym-linked, but I didn't
think of that at the time.) Worked well as ssh between nodes was already set
up.

This was not using Condor.

Cheers,

Phil Crawford

Dear Diego Bello Carreño,

Thank you for the response.

I appear to have the MPI install directory in the path in each machine.

mpirun will run when it is run outside of Condor. However, when I do this,
the rsh error (mentioned in my other messages) appears, which I think is the
root of the problem.

Well, you have to add the MPI install directory to your PATH.
