Re: [Condor-users] group accounting

I'm pretty sure the group accounting was added in 6.7.something
but not sure what. Not available in 6.6.

Hello,

I'm using Condor version 6.6.6 Jul 26 2004.

Is group accounting (AccountingGroup, GROUP_NAMES, GROUP_PRIO_FACTOR, GROUP_AUTOREGROUP) available for version 6.6.6?
When did group accounting become available?

I'm asking because I'm trying to use group accounting and it doesn't work. I submit a job with the +AccountingGroup = "group_physics" directive and condor_q shows that the submitter was me (the user), not the group (group_physics).

Perhaps I need to form the group first in such a way condor knows about this group? How do I do this? (I actually have a Windows group called group_physics with me in it, but I suspect this doesn't matter)

Also, is MAXJOBRETIREMENT available for version 6.6.6?
When did group accounting become available?
This is also failing. Preemption is not disabled (used RANK and the highest ranked job always preempts within seconds/minutes even if MAXJOBRETIREMENT is set equal to days.

Thank you very much,

Roberto
