[Condor-users] Installing Condor 6.8.1 on Windows XP Pro x64

Dear all,

I was wondering if anyone had installed Condor on Windows XP
Professional 64-bit edition?

Having reviewed some of the documentation for the WinXP 64-bit version I
was wondering if anyone had successfully managed to run 32bit and 64bit
programs on their Condor cluster? I am under the impression that there
may be some difficulties launching 64 bit applications from 32 bit
applications or vice versa, but this may be a misunderstanding on my
part.

I am also wondering if there are any plans to release a WinXP 64bit
version of the condor executables and daemons?

Ps. I am also intending on trying to set multi-CPU machines with the
ability to assign the CPUs individually in pairs or more, so thank you
for the answers to those questions that I have seen on the list
recently.
