Re: [Condor-users] Windows CredD on Server 2003

Title: RE: [Condor-users] Windows CredD on Server 2003

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the reply.
I had tried turning the CREDD_DEBUG to D_ALL and got so much information, I didn't know where to start.

Using some system tools, I've determined that what appears to be happening is that when Condor calls some of the system dlls; it is looking for them in the condor\bin directory rather than the windows\system32 directory. I suspect that this is actually a configuration issue from the operating system rather than Condor, though our path information appears correct.

If you have any further suggestions, they would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tammy

Tammy,

Indeed, most testing of the Windows CredD has taken place on a Server
2003 box.

Typically, the approach I take on debugging a problem like yours is to
reconfigure the CredD with CREDD_DEBUG = D_ALL, and then retry. Then,
the CreddLog will have tons of output as to why the condor_store_cred
command failed (usually this information will come from the security
subsystem).

90% of the time, this will indicate what is wrong. If the problem isn't
readily apparent from the CreddLog, please attach the log in a follow-up
e-mail and I'll look into it.

Thanks,

Greg
