Re: [Condor-users] running executables on other machines of cluster

Supply the full pathname for matlab when you call it.
Alternatively, in the line before matlab in the batch file set the path variable to the folder where matlab is installed.

They are on all of the machines. I am trying to run matlab.bat on the cluster computers. It basically calls executables and runs matlab. All of the executables are downloaded on the computers already. I was thinking that it should be able to pick up where matlab is located on the cluster computer but maybe I was wrong.

I think he said the executables were already on those machines.

How do you know which executable is on which machine?

Do they have a common name? or a name related to the machine?

    Yes, I think so.

Why don't you submit all of the executables and a script to pick the
appropriate one for execution. You need to do this on the Vanilla
    universe.

If the executables are large, can you submit them as a tar file or
something then just extract the one you need one the machine when
    the job is running?

No it is not. I have programs on computers that are the same. I want

    Josh,

Is condor set up to use a shared file system on your cluster?
