I did a  #  rpm -qf /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5
libstdc++-3.2.3-59 
on a sl3 (RHE3) and supposed it was from old distro.

Anyway, it worked fine now!
Oh!  [ Fedora Core 4 != sl4 ]... sorry.
