- Subject: [Condor-users] DC_AUTHENTICATE: attempt to open invalid session
Hi,
If the central manager is restarted, one particular submit/exec host
doesn't recover, and the collector logs on the CM give lots of
"DC_AUTHENTICATE: attempt to open invalid session ..." messages,
presumably due to the failing host. It won't recover until Condor is
restarted on the client. Other clients recover from CM restarts without
any problems.
I'm now running 7.0.4 on all the systems. The failing system is an IA64
box with 8 cores, and it's running the IA64 RHEL3 dynamic build of
Condor on Red Hat EL 4. The CM is running CentOS 5.2 and is running the
x86_64 dynamic build.
Any ideas what causes this and how it can be remedied?
