[Condor-users] Condor and processor affinity

There were some posts at the start of the year from Ian Chesal and Matt Hope about setting processor affinity in jobs.  Can anyone say if there is some way to get Condor to do this automatically now?  And in any case, can anyone comment on whether this is still important?  My understanding was that kernel scheduling should handle this pretty well.
