Re: [Condor-users] prepare job_hook running as daemon instead of job owner

The job hooks run as the daemon user, but there's been some discussion about having the hooks be able to run as the job owner.

Hi Robert,

In prepare job hook is wrote a script to create a directory and copy a file fro m submit host.

The directory created with the owner *daemon* and the file also has same ownership but the job owner is *ideal.

This should be fixed in the release you're running. What issues are you running into?

Hi,

The prepare prepare job_hook is running as daemon. I think it should run as job owner. I saw it was fixed at some place. Any special configuration is needed for that.
