[Condor-users] condor_startd hangs leaving a pipe at log directory

Hi,

I already posted this issue but now what I noticed will be useful.
Statrd hangs with no log progression in StartLog.

But the following pipes are updated.
procd_pipe.STARTD.watchdog
procd_pipe.STARTD

ps -Aef | grep condor shows condor_startd is running.

I found this procd_pipe.STARTD.15792.0 pipe touched time and the last
log entry in the StartLog are same after that no entry in StartLog.

I am seeing a pipe like this when and all the Startd hangs.

As soon as I delete that pipe Master sense that startd hung so killing
that and restarting.
