Re: [Condor-users] Mac Pro misbehaving



This looks like it was just not having the name and global IP address in /etc/hosts. Very annoying because I've forgotten about this before; but why can't we have a simple, straightforward error message that this is the problem?

The said Mac Pro allocates jobs to its slots the _first_ time Condor is
started via condor_master (as a root/admin user). When these jobs
successfully finish, subsequent ones always get Shadow Exceptions (exit
code 4) until we restart Condor again.

Ideas?
