Re: [Condor-users] Log files

Which, thanks to Dan, you can mostly do, see https://condor-wiki.cs.wisc.edu/index.cgi/tktview?tn=1458

We use a variant of that script here as well, but I'd argue (and have
already done so with your inspired blogger...) that those sorts of stats
should be available via "condor_status -negotiator -l" instead of having
to be parsed and shuffled around out-of-band.

I am already currently doing that. But I would also like to now how my
deamons are functioning.

I was inspired by this,

It would be nice to have something like this for ALL deamons instead
of simply running condor_status, condor_q

Is there a reason you cannot simply have a service which periodically
calls condor_status and dumps the result to a log file?

Is it possible to get:

Total number of running jobs
Total number of running jobs by user
Total number of servers available
Scheduler(s) in use in the entire pool

thru condor logs?

I have debugging enabled but was not able to see these stats clearly.
Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to find an alternative to
condor_status and condor_q thru log files
