Re: [Condor-users] Condor as a Unix Shell? (instead of BASH / SH / TCSH)?

A suggestion: use a discrete PATH to distinguish between executables that should run locally vs. executables that should be submitted as Condor jobs. Leave the standard Unix PATH for local executables and use, say, CONDOR_PATH for executables that should be submitted as Condor jobs. It avoids unexpected behavior, such as when a user has a private bin directory under $HOME or a site administrator has an installation tree that you haven't accounted for.
