Re: [Condor-users] hold

Hi Ben,

That was helpful.

The message I am getting is -

Error from slot3@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: STARTER at 10.178.6.39 failed to send file(s) to <10.175.15.2:37526>: error reading from /var/lib/condor/execute/dir_32104/outfile20_10_10_10_2.pdf: (errno 2) No such file or directory; SHADOW failed to receive file(s) from <10.178.6.39:54706>

I wonder if the file was removed from the submit host or something like that. I'm checking into that unless you have a different direction I should go.

Thanks!

Don,

What's the value of the HoldReason attribute? You can find this with:

condor_q <username> -format "%s\n" HoldReason

where <username> is the name of the submitting user (e.g. bcotton) (note that this command will give you the HoldReason for every job that has it set. If there are many jobs, you may want to use the -const argument to provide a narrower list of jobs)
