[Condor-users] WS-GRAM support in Condor

For the Condor 7.8 stable series, we are planning to remove support for Globus's Web Services GRAM protocol in the grid universe. This protocol is also know as WS-GRAM, GRAM4, or GT4 GRAM. It is no longer support by the Globus project and hasn't seen wide-spread use. Condor will continue to support GRAM2 (also known as pre-Web Services GRAM or GT2 GRAM) and GRAM5 (the latest version of GRAM, an extension of GRAM2).

If the removal of Web Services GRAM support from Condor poses a problem for you, please let us know.
