[Condor-users] Condor Example and condor_compile

Has anyone been able to get the examples in the condor-7.8.3/src/condor_release/examples directory to compile?
It seems that there has been no work on these since 2007. The make file does not match the included source code.
IE env.cpp versus the call in the make file of env.C

Is there a detailed set up sequence written in the manual beyond the ld changes required to make condor_compile
work properly using the the RHEL 6.3 / condor 7.8.3 release?

If not, ISS is looking into fixing these examples and then using that experience to try to put together
a detailed sequence for setting up each environment and "universe" under Centos 6.3 x86_64
and windows 2008 64 bit so that a cluster can be brought on line quickly.

We are also looking into other aspects of automating the condor environment
and its setup.
