Re: [HTCondor-users] Does ticket #4140 affect stable 8.0.6?

Hi Klint,

That change is only in the 8.1.x series. The 8.0.x series (including 8.0.6) would still have this socket leak.

Leaking one socket per htcondor daemon is a pretty small leak.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if ticket 4140 (8.1.4 Fixed a bug that would leak one socket in each daemon, when NO_DNS = True) would affect 8.0.6?

I’m still trying to find out why my workers are running out of file descriptors when they’ve been idle for a while.

Thanks,

Klint.
