Re: [HTCondor-users] condor_config_val issue

Hi Szabolcs,

Three things you might have forgotten (I did once or twice):
- set the specific target daemon when you invoke condor_config_val with e.g. -schedd
- don't forget to reconfigure your daemon with condor_reconfig

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi,

I have a weird condor_config_val issue with Condor 8.1.4. I try to set concurrency limits on the scheduler using condor_config_val and even
though the command is said to be successful, if I query the value I still get the original number.
When setting a persistent value I even see the .config.MASTER and .config.MASTER.attributeName files with the proper new attribute value
in the directory on the scheduler.

There is no mention in any of the logs about the config command not working.
Am I missing something here?

Cheers,
Szabolcs
