Disk space isnât that cheap.  minimum 2 drive raid 1 with hw raid + bbu and spare drives ready to go.  Thereâs $2-3k that I could have spent on core/ghz/memory.

Normally, but in headless server installations I tend to get annoyed when something pulls in all of XWindows via a dependency it doesn't really need. ;)
