Re: [HTCondor-users] Setting policy using Linux Groups?

Hi Sameem,

Depending on what you mean by âhigher priorityâ, you can use condor_userprio to increase the sam userâs fair-share (this is often what people mean when they say âpriorityâ).

Hi all,

I am working on setting up a cluster at ICTS. Right now we have 5 computers in the cluster running HTCondor 8.4.3 to manage jobs.

I have been assigned the task to frame a policy in which the users in certain groups(Linux user groups) get higher priority than others. Say a user sam is in the group ICTS. His job should be preferred for execution over other groups.

Is there any way to achieve this??

Thanks
Sameem
