[HTCondor-users] Does +PostCmd have to be a script?

Digging myself a deeper hole:

> universe = vanilla
> ...
> environment = "MCR_CACHE_VERBOSE=1 MCR_CACHE_ROOT=/tmp/$(ClusterID)...
> ...
> +PostCmd = rm
> +PostArguments = "-rf /tmp/$(ClusterId)"

This works: the output is all there, but the log says

> 005 (131.000.000) 10/25 13:51:14 Job terminated.
> (0) Abnormal termination (signal 1)

and the /tmp/131 directory is not removed.

This:
>
> environment = "MCR_CACHE_VERBOSE=1 MCR_CACHE_ROOT=/tmp/$(ClusterID)...
> ...
> +PostCmd = /bin/rm
> +PostArguments = "-rf /tmp/$(ClusterId)"

just goes into limbo: all output placeholders are created and stay zero
length, the job is not in condor_q, and nothing is logged anywhere that
I can see.

What gives?
