Hello,

Just doing a quick survey to see if anyone is using GSI with VOMS proxy attributes on the macOS platform.  Due to changes in the SSL security libraries on the latest macOS, it may take significant work to continue to support.

Therefore, unless anyone objects, our plan is:

1) Support for VOMS extensions on macOS will be discontinued.


And to reassure others:

2) VOMS extensions will continue to work on other platforms where they are already supported.
3) x509, SSL, and GSI functionality will also continue to work on macOS.
