Thanks for checking this out.
I tried Internet Explorer as well - same issue. Its not Firefox specific.
My conclusion now is that this must be some corporate firewall issue I have never seen before. I was able to get to the download page easily from a mobile device outside of the firewall. It is odd that it started only recently. Perhaps they pushed some new rules to the firewall.

I will check with our IT department.

I am selecting the condor-8.8.4-474941-Windows-x64.msi download.

I click the checkbox "I have read ..."

I click the "submit download request".

Firefox (Windows 68.0.2) goes away for some time and returns with the "Gateway Timeout" error. This was been a problem for weeks now. I assumed everyone was enjoying a summer break:). I have tried on multiple machines.

Can you share where the problem happens? Is it when you click on the version ("HTCondor 8.9.2") on the Downloads page (Âhttps://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/downloads/Â) or when you are trying to download a specific file? If you're getting this error when you're downloading a file, can you share the URL to the file? It should be coming from parrot.cs.wisc.edu.
