Re: [HTCondor-users] Advertising for the Autumn HTCondor meeting

Hi Greg,

TBH, it’s partly out of frustration with getting anyone to consider HTC at my currently institution. Being out on a limb by myself is exhausting and was just looking forward to hearing  talks about how others were setting stuff up.  Also, September seems to be a very busy time here in the UK with meetings, so I was trying to put it on folks radar before it got crowded out by other meetings.

I do apologize for jumping-the-gun when the committee hasn’t yet finalized things.

If there is anything I can help with on the margins, feel free to let me know.

Best regards,

Matt

Hi All,

I was a little surprised to see that https://indico.cern.ch/event/1059494/ is up and running for the September meeting and that registration had been open for a few weeks. Did I miss any of the other announcements? I was able to register and my name appear on the participants list.

Matt:

We haven't officially opened up registration yet, and are still tweaking the meeting page, so you haven't missed anything.  We'll open registration soon, and will send out announcements here and on twitter when we do. I assume your eagerness to register is because you'd like to give a talk?
