[condor-users] NEGOTIATOR_INTERVAL not being honored

Hello,

I am experiencing 20 second delays between job scheduling intervals. Examining the NegotiatorLog it is evident that this is due to the negotiation cycle. I have done tons of internet searches and doc reading and it looks like you should be able to change this by setting the NEGOTIATOR_INTERVAL in either the condor_config (or condor_config.local). However, whether I set this or not, the cycle still occurs at 20 second intervals. Here is an example of what I am seeing.

You will notice that it correctly read in the NEGOTIATOR_INTERVAL I set but it is still taking 20 seconds between Negotiation Cycles.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can reduce this 20 second delay?

Any help I can get would be much appreciated!
