[condor-users] recording stats: log file versus e-mail

Hello,

I just noticed that there are differences between
the log file of a job and the e-mail you get
when it finishes. I plan to use the log file to compute
job statistics, but I find the e-mail to give a little
more info. For instance, the log file does not record
the Total Remote CPU time. Is this behavior normal?

Here's an example:

log File:

...
005 (044.000.000) 01/20 13:07:36 Job terminated.
        (1) Normal termination (return value 0)
                Usr 0 00:24:30, Sys 0 00:00:01  -  Run Remote Usage
                Usr 0 00:00:00, Sys 0 00:00:00  -  Run Local Usage
                Usr 0 00:24:30, Sys 0 00:00:01  -  Total Remote Usage
                Usr 0 00:00:00, Sys 0 00:00:00  -  Total Local Usage
0  -  Run Bytes Sent By Job
0  -  Run Bytes Received By Job
0  -  Total Bytes Sent By Job
0  -  Total Bytes Received By Job

e-mail:
Your Condor job 44.0
	/opt/aqua -i aqua.raw -f 0.01
has exited normally with status 0.
