RE: [condor-users] Condor 6.6.1 is now available

Hi,

6.6.1 certainly have new useful features (eg. Condor_store_cred with -p option). Unfortunately, ver 6.6.1's Config file seem not have have these setting

## Specify a specific nobody account to run jobs as. This only applies
## to instances where we normally run as nobody, and we'd like to run
## as some other user. On Windows, this user's password must be stored
## in the local password stash, or the starter will default on the
## condor-reuse-vmX account.
VM1_USER = DOMAIN\condor-reuse-vm1
VM2_USER = DOMAIN\condor-reuse-vm2

as most of my resources are centralized in a file server, i need to set this to a domain account so that we can access the network drive. Since installing 6.6.1, i am getting "Access is denied." in my error log.

Am I supposed to configure this "run as" thing in a different manner? Please advise!!

Thanks and Best Regards

The Condor Team is please to announce the release of Condor version 6.6.1.
Condor 6.6.1 is the first update to our 6.6 stable series, and is
available now on Windows and most major Unix systems. Stable
series releases do not include many new features, and are mostly bug
and performance fixes. 6.6.1 does add checkpointing and remote I/O to
Redhat 9 on IA32 systems. We believe 6.6.1 has a number of bug fixes that
greatly improve it over 6.6.0, and would urge current 6.6.0 users
to consider upgrading. The upgrade instructions for 6.4.x to 6.6.x
will also hold for 6.6.0 to 6.6.1, they can be found here:

http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/manual/v6.6/7_1Obtaining.html#SECTION00816000000000000000

A complete list of changes during the 6.5 development series that lead to
Condor 6.6.0 can be found here:
http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/manual/v6.6/8_2Stable_Release.html

We would also like to invite you all to Paradyn / Condor Week 2004,
to be held April 14-16th at the University of Wisconsin. We will
be presenting tutorials, updates on new features in the Condor software
and research activities, and reports from Condor users from the field.
The conference website is at http://www.paradyn.org/PCW2004/ and the
complete agenda should be filled in the next few days.

As always, the Condor Team remains at condor-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxx
