That's the most common of all condor errors reported in the user log. In
short, you should look in all log files - ShadowLog and SchedLog on
submission machine and StarterLog and StartLog on the remote resource
where the job was invoked. "Failed to connect to schedd" makes me feel
it could be something wrong with schedd/shadow. But you'd better read
the manual - that's the only way to start understanding the system
