Re: [HTCondor-users] Install condor 23.0.2 on CentOS 7.9 with get.htcondor.org

Hello Luca,

If 10.9.0 is present in your HTCondor repository, that would indicate that your repository definitions still point to the 10.x HTCondor feature release repository. You would need to update to the HTCondor 23.0.x LTS repository. You can update your repository definitions with:

# yum install https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/repo/23.0/htcondor-release-current.el7.noarch.rpm

Once you have updated your repository definitions, you should be able to update to HTCondor 23.0.2 LTS.

Actually no, it doesn't help.

It looks for packages that are not present or not found because links other place.

Hi Luca,

Does specifying the stable channel via --channel stable help?

Subject: [HTCondor-users] Install condor 23.0.2 on CentOS 7.9 with get.htcondor.org

Dears,

I'm trying to install condor 23.0.2 on a CentOS 7.9 cluster.

I'm not able because, even if the 23.0.2 package is present in the repo, yum looks for the package version 10.9.

My installation line is

curl -fsSL https://get.htcondor.org | GET_HTCONDOR_PASSWORD ="$htcondor_password "/bin/bash -s -- --no-dry-run --execute $central_manager_name

Could you please give me some tips? Where do I get wrong?

Luca
