[Gems-users] GEMS Release v1.2 Available

Wisconsin Multifacet GEMS Release v1.2 is now available for download.

The new features and changes from the previous release are as follows:

 *  LogTM Transactional Memory support
     - See "LogTM: Log-based Transactional Memory", Moore et al., HPCA 2006
     - SMP directory protocol implementation
     - Includes the experimental "tourmaline" module to aid in 
transactional workload
       setup by providing a faster, function-only simulation.

 *  CMP-DNUCA protocol and support

 *  Bug fixes to Opal and Ruby outlined in the CHANGES file.
