Title: RE: [Condor-users] Questions regarding condor web interface...

Bruce,

There is a project that provides a framework currently.  http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/tools/BLAST/  currently I have been modifying it to a more generic format for multi-platforming (since we run it on windows).  It's not that hard to set-up, just a webserver with PHP.  I'm hoping to get my changes to the php out to the community soon.  I've also added in a "condor_q -analyse" which isn't in the stock set of pages.

Subject: [Condor-users] Questions regarding condor web interface...

Hi...

I'm considering what should go into a web interface for condor. I'm curious
as to what other people feel would be useful?

Job Submission
-ability to automatically generate job submit file based on:
 -input exe/scripts
 -job type (standard/vanilla/etc..)
 -input dir
 -file transfer
 -nfs
 -etc...

Job Tracking
-ability to track status of jobs
-ability to get history of jobs

Network Information
-status of network servers
-start/stop/enable/disable server

This is meant to be a start... just curious to know what others think...
I've looked at what easycondor provides...

thanks...

-bruce
