[Condor-users] LoadAverage on Windows machines

Dear users,

we are using Condor on Windows desktops and suffered from
strange LoadAverage.

Somehow, without any other load, the condor_status reports
that the loadaverage is 1.5, on some machines,
while the windows taskmanager reports the load is almost 0%.
This prevent us from using the clever START expression
supplied as the default in the configuration file.

Do you have any idea why we have this big loadaverage?

The machine configuration is as follows:

- CPU    Intel Pentium 4
- OS     Windows XP SP1 
- CondorVersion = "$CondorVersion: 6.6.10 Jun 22 2005 $"
  CondorPlatform = "$CondorPlatform: INTEL-WINNT50 $"
