Re: [Condor-users] Installing Condor in C:\Program Files



Hi

In our pool Condor does work perfectly well being installed 
in "C:\Program Files\Condor" folder. All you need to do is to use this 
8.3 name (c:\progra~1\Condor), as was suggested by others on this list.
Just make sure that you put it into the registry AND, most important,
into the condor_config file.
One small hint - for some reason Condor (or windows) is partially 
case-sensitive in this case. I have found that if you call the 
folder "Condor" in the first place, so you should use it exactly
in config files. Just "c:\progra~1\condor" would not work, while
"c:\progra~1\Condor" works fine.
