Hi,

Is there was way to reset the output of condor_history?

If you are not using the Quill extension, you could remove the HISTORY
file.  Do "condor_config_val history" to see the location of this file.

Or at least give
it a date range?

I guess you could use the -constraint command-line switch.  Or perhaps
just using "-backwards" would suffice for you - personally, I always use
-backwards with condor_history.  (via an alias)

Thanks very much for the suggestions from those who have suggested them.

I've just been using:

condor_history -l | grep 'CompletionDate = ' | tail -100

which pulls out the completion times that I'm after for the last 100 jobs.

So far its not taking too much time (a few seconds) to produce the data - but I thought I'd check for a way to keep the file size down should this get a bit longer after a few hundred experiments.

Cheers,
Brad
