Re: [Condor-users] Can't install condor on my laptop

In general you should not send massive files to the list, these should
go to the specific person who requested it (or the condor support email
address)

Zipping makes it much more palatable but anything larger than 100KB
should be sent to the list only if you really think the majority of
subscribers want it...

Disclaimer: this is personal opinion not the rules of the condor admins
running this list (there directives trump mine :)

Hi Ben,

Here it is again...

The restriction seemed to be from your side.

I received this message:

"Your mail to 'Condor-users' with the subject
RE: [Condor-users] Can't install condor on my laptop Is being held
until the list moderator can review it for approval.
The reason it is being held:
Message body is too big: 1992722 bytes with a limit of 200 KB Either
the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive
notification of the moderator's decision."

I did not resend it because I thought you would eventually get it.

Ahmed

No I didn't. Maybe compressing it might help it get through... not sure
if the limitation is on our side or yours.
