Re: [Condor-users] How to integrate condor pool in globus

Dear Steve,

I used the pretend option in pacman installation tool, but there is no support for FC11.
About the package of condor, i think its a full version and it has all the components too, (condor_grimngr).
because when i submit job then condor_gridmngr starts, but the jobs are not being executed on desired node. as i have posted eariler.
Please refer: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/archive/condor-users/2009-October/msg00198.shtml

One more thing i was getting error message in the condor logs (Negotiator) at central manager as UNAUTHENTICATED user, though my configuration file having full access to NEGOTIATOR.
Please put your suggestions.

Thanking You.

Are you using the condor rpms that come with FC11?  If so there
might be problems because some of the condor rpms in that series
don't have any globus support.  Better to download the condor
from the condor web site if so.

VDT has a concept called -pretend-platform in which you
can instruct the VDT installation to pretend you are an older
version of linux if you are installing on a newer version where it's not
yet supported. I am not sure what their current support stance is on FC11
and I have never tried it myself yet.
