Re: [Condor-users] condor view with multiple collectors

Hi Peter

We're running 5 Central Managers (collector and negotiator) on different
boxes for 5 different pools of machines. We run a separate collector on
a separate box.

All 6 of these are VMs on ESX servers running SLES10 SP3 and condor
version 7.2.3

Each of the 5 CMs has the same entry like:

CONDOR_VIEW_HOST        = condorview.***.***.au

(I've obviously "starred" out some of the name info for this email).

and the condorview box has the following entries:

CONDOR_VIEW_HOST        = condorview.***.***.au
POOL_HISTORY_DIR        = $(LOCAL_DIR)/condorview
KEEP_POOL_HISTORY       = TRUE
POOL_HISTORY_MAX_STORAGE = 2000000000

We initially had problems but it was due to firewall issues. Maybe
worth checking that any physical firewalls are configured correctly,
as well as software firewalls on the CMs and viewserver themselves?

Cheers

Greg

Is anyone out there running condor-view with multiple collector
daemons? I'd love if you could share your relevant configuration
entries so I could see what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks.
Peter
