Re: [Condor-users] Splitting/prioritizing the resources for distinct users

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if I can edit the configuration file of the Condor-G (condor.pm), or even to add code (instead of just change the arguments) to make this mapping(?) I would need just add some if-else (or switch-case). Will it work?

Has someone already done such changes?
Thanks,
Alan.

It might be possible to define some kind of mapping from a "group-less"
submitter name (user@host) to a fully-qualified group (group.user@hist).

Such a capability would need to be considered as a Request For
Enhancement.

If you have hundreds or thousands of submitters, such a mapping would
clearly become quite large in a config file, although it could reside in
its own separate file at least, in LOCAL_CONFIG_DIR
