Yeah, just write a quick shell script that calls your program, then sleeps for 30 minutes, or whatever.  I believe condor_ssh_to_job will stop Condor from cleaning up the job until you log out, so the length of the sleep time is not necessarily critical, it just has to be long enough for you to be able to log in :)
