Hey Steve,

interested in whch platform you got the MCR deployment down to
100MB on?

Our central IT guys are still trying to roll out the MCR across
our Condor Grid here, but the underlying platform is winxp and
a typical install of the MCR for that seems to come in at around
500MB.

Have seen in other threads on here, guys as Wisconsin, that they
managed to cut out enough Matlab cruft and then, thorugh judicious
use of compression, more or less made it possible to view the MCR
as something to be added to the job payload.

If you have a list of things you know you can bin from a typical
install of the MCR, it'd make interesting reading.
