[Condor-users] Small glitch in debian/preinst script?

Hi,

I just checked the debian scripts coming with the 7.6 deb package, and
in the preinst script, in the create_user() function, both condor group
and user are checked with the same command "getent passwd condor".
In the first place, IMHO this should read "getent group condor".
It would be very helpful if the assigned group and user id wouldn't be
chosen at random (by addgroup, and adduser, respectively) but if there
was an opportunity to pre-set ids (debconf comes to mind) since we're
doing our installs using FAI - which doesn't know about the (in NIS)
existing "condor" account (with a predefined id pair).
Can this be fixed/enhanced?

Thanks,
 Steffen
