[Condor-users] Condor Security Release 7.8.6 released!

The Condor Team is pleased to announce the release of Condor 7.8.6

7.8.6 fixes a security issue that affects versions of Condor since 7.7.3 that
have support for the "standard universe".  This means that Windows, Mac, and
clipped ports are not affected.  Please see the full details of the security

The release notes and announcements for 7.8.5 incorrectly reported that 7.8.5 contained
the fix for this security issue. That was incorrect. Condor 7.8.5 had all of the most
recent stable bug fixes but not the fix for this security issue.

The 7.8.6 release contains this security bug fix, but is otherwise identical to the 7.8.5 release
