the UPDATE_MASTER_AD, UPDATE_SCHEDD_AD, and UPDATE_STARTD_AD are actually
"WRITE"-level commands, so you'll want to look at the ALLOW_WRITE and/or
HOSTALLOW_WRITE settings on your central manager.
